Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)

CDW covers car-to-car collisions only.
Covers up to $50,000 per accident (deductible: $1,000).

• With CDW, you won't be charged for damage to the rental car during your rental, up to its full replacement value per accident. The first $1,000 of damage (the deductible) is still your responsibility.

Zero Deductible Waiver (ZDW)

Waives the $1,000 CDW deductible. Available as an add-on to CDW.

Non Operation Charge Waiver (NOC)

Waives the Non-Operation Charge you would otherwise pay after an accident ($250 if the car can still be driven and rented, $400 if it can't).

Non Operation Charge

If the car is damaged in an accident, we can't rent it out while it's being repaired. To cover part of that lost income, you pay the Non-Operation Charge below, regardless of the extent of the damage or the repair time.

Accident Service Charge

If you have an accident, a $150 accident processing fee applies, no matter who is at fault.

When insurance and waivers don't apply

The following are not covered, regardless of who is at fault.

1. Reckless driving, drunk driving, using a phone or other device while driving, and racing
2. Damaged or broken windows
3. Break-ins, car theft, vandalism, and items stolen from the car
4. Accidents or damage caused by a driver not listed on the rental agreement
5. Traffic tickets of any kind, plus a $100 service fee
6. Any new damage found at return, however small ($150 service fee)
7. Towing fees after an accident
8. Leaving the scene of an accident
9. Damage to or loss of tires, wheels, wheel covers or keys, and related service fees
10. Accidents or damage not reported to the police right away at the scene (no police report number)
11. Damage caused by earthquakes, tsunamis, typhoons or other natural disasters
